Why Us

P&S Textiles Ltd (T/A Arville) have been a leading specialist in the weaving of truly endless extraction webs (braybands) for rotary moulder machines since belt-driven mass production techniques for dough forming and moulding were introduced to the bakery industry over 100 years ago.

Why Use Truly Endless Belts?

We weave belts with a truly endless construction - i.e. it is a closed loop with NO JOINT anywhere in its length. As all of our belts have a woven selvedge as a standard feature, this makes them truly endless in both the machine (warp) and transverse (weft) directions.

A truly endless construction means that there are no breaks so 100% of the belt surface is constantly working, giving continuous extraction and transfer of product with a much superior efficiency when compared to spliced or jointed alternatives reducing the rate of incomplete dough forms, product wastage and rejects.

By eliminating the joint, it means that wear resistance against mechanical stress (machine rollers, scraper blade, knife-edge nosebar) is greatly improved. Woven selvedges help to protect the edges of the belt from wear as there are no loose fibre ends to catch or fray.

We have built our business by keeping pace with the need for responsive service and fast lead times.
